Service Description
The amazing Venado Caves, formed between 15 and 20 million years ago, were discovered by the aboriginal Guatusos. Throughout the 1 ½ hour tour through a cave formed by a subway river, we will see stalactites, stalagmites and marine fossils along with many bats, spiders and crickets. As adventurers, we must be prepared to move through very tight spaces, get completely wet and covered in mud as we walk and crawl through the subway river and waterfall to explore the wonders of this cave. A subway walk like few others, where we can observe and learn about rock formations millions of years old and how life develops under the ground, you will get wet and have fun.
