Near the town of La Fortuna and in the foothills of the Arenal Volcano, is one of the biggest attractions of the area, the Arenal Lagoon. The Arenal hydroelectric dam, one of the main sources of energy for Costa Rica, is located on top of it. For all kayaking and water adventure lovers, the Arenal Lagoon represents an excellent field to practice this beautiful activity. It is a challenge to endure 2 hours against the swell and wind that is felt in the area, sitting on the kayak and with the paddle in your hands. You will realize the true emotion that is felt by enjoying the scenic beauty and nature of the place, all while contemplating the mythical Arenal Volcano in the background. During the tour you will visit an island located in the center of the lagoon, where you can enjoy and swim in its rich waters.
